Our Faculty member elected a Co-Vice Chair of International Studies Association Global International Relations Section.

We are happy to announce that that our employee Marcin Grabowski, Associate Professor at Institute of Political Science and International Relations and Director of Centre for International Studies and development has been recently elected a Co-Vice Chair of International Studies Association (ISA) Global International Relations Section during this year ISA Convention in San Francisco.

Prof. Grabowski will be a Co-Vice Chair of ISA GIRS along with Dr. Jasmine K. Gani from University of St Andrews (Scotland, UK) and together they will assist a new elected Chair – Prof. Lina Benabdallah from Wake Forest University (North Carolina, United States) – in leading Global IR Section for the next two years. He will also serve as a Programme Co-Chair for GIRS for the upcoming ISA conventions in Chicago (Illinois, US) and Columbus (Ohio, US).

 

The ISA Global International Relations Section (GIRS) strives to cultivate a truly inclusive platform by championing diverse perspectives, particularly from the Global South, fostering cross-disciplinary dialogue, and amplifying voices traditionally underrepresented in international relations discourse.
