An employee of our Faculty has been appointed a Board Member of the Association of Israel Studies

It’s a pleasure to announce that prof Joanna Dyduch from the Institute of the Middle and Far East has been appointed a Board Member of the Association of Israel Studies. The decision has been made on June 6 on the Board annual meeting. The appointment is immediately in effect and will be held for two years

About the Association:

Formed in 1985, the Association for Israel Studies is an international, interdisciplinary scholarly society devoted to the academic and professional study of modern Israel. The Association's membership is composed of scholars from all disciplines in the social sciences and many in the humanities. It is chartered in the U.S. developing academic cooperation with American and Israeli academic centres e.g.: Brandeis University, University of Illinois, University of Maryland or Michigan State University (and many others).
