Book talk - "Sinology during the Cold War"

We cordially invite you to join a book talk on "Sinology during the Cold War" (Routledge 2022) on Wednesday, June 22, at 3pm.

The meeting will feature a book discussion between Dr. Antonina Łuszczykiewicz (Institute of the Middle and Far East, Jagiellonian University) and Prof. Michael C. Brose (Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies, Indiana University Bloomington). Joined by the contributors to the book, including Prof. Jerzy Bayer, Prof. Piotr Kletowski, and Prof. Michał Lubina, they will explore how their research not only redresses the dearth of knowledge of sinological scholarship during the Cold War period, but also yields implications on current-day developments, such as the rise of China and the “New Cold War”.

Please register for the meeting using the link.
