We are pleased to invite you to a lecture by the Austrian Consulate General, Phillip Charwath, entitled “Economic diploma in the modern world: The role of diplomatic missions, opportunities and risk”, to be held on May 5, at 12.00 at the Faculty’s building (room 008)

Phillip Charwath joined the foreign service at the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2000. During that time, he fulfilled the duties of Secretary of the Embassy in Permanent representation of Austria to the UN, IAEA, and CTBTO (2003-2004), Ambassador to the Permanent Representation of Austria to the UN (2004-2008), Deputy Head of Mission of the Austrian Embassy in Senegal (2008-2011) and Deputy Director of the Office of the Secretary-General for Foreign Affairs (2011-2015).

In the years 2015-2019 of Deputy Head of Mission at the Permanent representation of Austria to the United Nations in New York. Since December 2019, the Austrian General Consul in Cracow has been in office.
