Representatives of the Jagiellonian Research Center for African Studies at the Night of Museums in the Africanist Museum in Olkusz

During this year’s Night of Museums at the Africanist Museum in Olkusz, which took place on May 21, visitors could not only see all African collections of the Museum free of charge, but also listen to the presentations prepared by Prof. Robert Kłosowicz (JRCAS Director) and Dr. Joanna Mormul (JRCAS Secretary). Professor Kłosowicz introduced the guests to the Tuareg culture, referring to the Tuareg and West African collections held by the Africanist Museum in Olkusz. Dr. Mormul, on the other hand, focused on introducing the audience to the history and culture of the Saharawi people. The event was accompanied by delicacies from African cuisines.
