Jean Monnet grant for the Centre for International Studies and Development

We are proud to announce that Professor Viktoriya Voytsekhovska, who realizes ID.UJ grant at the Centre for International Studies and Development under supervision of Professor Marcin Grabowski, is one of the partners of winning Jean Monnet grant.

Professor Voytsekhovska participated in the development of Jean Monnet Activities from the beginning and now the project of Lviv Polytechnic National University, entitled "Sustainable Development via Digital Economics as Ukrainian Education Paradigm: EU experience", was awarded SUSTAIN grant.

The project aims to implement the EU experience in achieving sustainable development goals based on the digital economy through the educational process and thematic events. As Professor Voytsekhovska describes it:

“The project foresees innovative implementation of such disciplines as "Economics of sustainable development in conditions of digitization: the EU experience" and "Methods and models of digital support for the sustainable development of the economy: European practices” and a number of thematic events on the theme of sustainable development in the form of round tables, workshops, international conferences, creation of a website with information on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), comparison of European and national achievements in the field of sustainable development, introduction of successful European practices in the educational programmes of national universities, development of E-Learning Methodical Complex on the Moodle platform, taking into account the experience gained in sustainable development, publication of articles, a monograph, a collection of conference abstracts, a practical guide for the team of participants based on the results of the project.

These activities will contribute to the dissemination of European experience in sustainable economic development by using the opportunities of digitization to achieve their goals and will contribute to students' acquisition of general and professional skills in the implementation of the SDGs and their further use. Overall, the project will contribute to the formation of a new paradigm of economic education in Ukraine.”
