Centre for International Studies and Development would like to invite you to the last of a series of guest lectures in global Economic Diplomacy 2023. CISAD special guest will be His Excellency Filip Grzegorzewski, senior diplomat in the European External Action Service representing the European Union in Taiwan. The title of the lecture:

Challenges of EU Economic Diplomacy in Asia: Case Study of Taiwan

The meeting will be held on the 18th of May, 11:00, room 012.

Filip Grzegorzewski, a Polish diplomat with 20 years of experience in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the European External Action Service. He is a graduate of international relations and sinology at the University of Warsaw, as well as the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Since 2019, he has represented the European Union in Taiwan as Director of the European Economic and Trade Office. From 2015 to 2019, he chaired the Council of the European Union's Working Party on Asia and Oceania (COASI) in Brussels. COASI brings together representatives of all EU member states and prepares decisions of the Council of the European Union on issues concerning Asia and Oceania. Filip Grzegorzewski was also a Director of the Asia and Pacific Department in the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. From 2018 to 2011, he was a counsellor in the Political Department of the Delegation of the European Union to China and Mongolia, and before that he worked at the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Poland to the European Union in Brussels.
