International Conference:. „Visions and Revisions of Europe”

Drawing on the Euroculture 2017 Intensive Programme theme, Visions of Europe, the Euroculture Scholar Conference Visions and Revisions of Europe seeks to create a space for dialogue about the juxtapositions present in contemporary European societies, which are pitting many visions of what was, is and will be, and the many revisions that are being proposed and in some cases, carried out.

Agreement with Keimyung University

On the 2nd June 2017, in Daegu, Rector's Proxy for International Relations, prof. dr hab. Adam W. Jelonek and Vice-Rector for International Relations of Keimyung University, prof. Joong-Hee Lee, signed an Academic Agreement between the Jagiellonian University in Kraków and Keimyung University in Daegu. The ceremony was also graced by His Magnificence, Rector of Keimyung University, prof. Ilhi Synn, while the Jagiellonian University was represented by Rector's Proxy for General Affairs at the Medical College, prof. dr hab. med. Piotr Richter and Deputy Head of the Institute of the Middle and Far East for General Affairs and the Head of the Department of Korea, dr hab. Renata Czekalska.

Agreement with Hankuk University of Foreign Studies

On the 30th May 2017 in Seoul, prof. dr hab. Adam Jelonek, Rector's Proxy for International Affairs, signed an agreement on the creation of the Centre for Korean Language JU with University of Foreign Studies. The aim of the agreement is to reinforce the cooperation to date between the Jagiellonian University and the aforementioned Korean university.
