We are pleased to inform you that 22 of March a ceremony was held to award scholarships to outstanding ISAD students. The Magnificent Seven are: Isabella Spies, Stephan Bauer, Johann Kattenstroth, Theresa Rohrhirsch, Sevinj Novruzova, I-Ting Chen, Dziyana Antsipenka. They were celebrated and honored by Director of CISAD Prof. Marcin Grabowski, Dean of the Faculty of International and Political Studies Prof. Pawe Laidler and Chairman of CISAD Council Prof. Andrzej Mania.

In their laudations they all underlined the achievements of students and our Dean stressed that becoming an agent of change is a slow process of not only academic achievement, but also contributing to society by promoting democracy, development and peace and being personally responsible and practically involved, which is especially important in the current difficult situation.

And then there were cheers, applause, emotional tears, and happy smiles!

The ceremony was preceded by a lecture delivered by our special guest: Australian diplomat Dr. David Morris on Political Risks in Shifting World Order from Eurasia to the Indo-Pacific. His speech was stimulating, based on his wide knowledge and experience and was widely applauded. Our students literally inundated him with questions that he was patiently responding to even though the lecture had already ended.
