The American Journal of Bioethics has called him “the quietly most interesting bioethicist of our time.”

Abstract: The field that came to be known as bioethics in the late 1960’s is an integral part of the rules-based international order intentionally developed in the aftermath of World War II. The norms and institutions intended to help avoid a third world war are now being challenged on many fronts. In this talk Professor Moreno will explain the core thesis of his forthcoming book, making the case that bioethics will need to adapt to a revised world order.
